I have to admit that a lot of what I buy off eBay is not necessarily on my wants list. I tend to have a browse through the listings early in the evening and just see what looks interesting.

I'll often buy records that I've never heard of, just because something about the artist, label or description takes my fancy. I've managed to come away with a lot of great music at very low prices.

That tends to be how I operate too, Jimmy. I've found some real bargains, some obscure gems, and some that were not what I expected...

Yet more eBay goodies...I think I may have to take on another job to pay for all this stuff.

There's a few more to stick up here, but I will need to scan labels first.

One of my better record collecting days today with the arrival of the following, two of which mean I am down to just need five of the 1993 RC Freakbeat R&B top 200 which are;

Miller Oak
Hush
Thryds Oak
Movement
Sorrows (I don't wanna be free)

The Spectres came about via a swap for my Studio 36 Skyliner's 45 (as per the images on the site) following contact from a fellow 45cat member; so needless to say two very happy collectors, which is what its all about :-)

Downpour forced me into a Sue Ryder shop this morning & I emerged 30 minutes later with these two for a quid each- (nice weather we're having!)

At least this damn awful weather is proving fruitful for some. That's a nice pair of charity shop finds any day of the week.

A good charity shop find today was The Ink Spots in Hi-Fi ep, plus two NZ releases, Today by The Newfolk and The Lonely Shepherd by Zamfir and James Last. All three for $A1.

Popped into Oxfam earlier and found the following all priced up between 25p - 50p - though the Meek singles are in such a tatty condition that it may be far too optimistic to say that a bit of wood glue treatment might make the background noise bearable:

Already have a copy of "Marguerite" but at 25p I couldn't walk past, so I'll probably end up selling it on. Actually, I've no idea why I bought a number of these, if I'm being truthful.

I also picked up a custom pressing which I'll have to add to 45Cat soon. Sadly, the contents of it aren't very interesting.

A quick shufty in the charity shop just produced this little lovely for the princely sum of 20p (sadly no sleeve though).

Also for the same price, these...

I've now gone native and have just bought 3 records from a charity shop that I have no use for whatsoever but I thought they might not be on 45cat. It's a slippery slope... as it happens I was right about two of them! 60p well spent... maybe.
