Two more tragic losses. Bert Jansch, aged 67, to cancer. David Bedford, 74, to lung cancer.
I'm utterly devastated by the passing of Jansch since I hugely admired him and loved Pentangle. My own Grandmother died last night aged 93 and my Mother and I were with her, so this piece of news has really hit me hard. Bedford... I enjoyed his work with Kevin Ayers. RIP Bert, David... and my Gran.
Recently heard that Kim Brown passed away from cancer October 11, aged 66. Kim was the leader for the Finland-based Birmingham beat group The Renegades during the 60's, who released some great records.
It has just been reported that Andrea True (of "Andrea True Connection" fame) sadly passed away at the age of 68, on November 7th.
As a wee tribute I am going to play her 1976 hit "More More More".
