I got these two (amongst others) at my favourite five-for-a-pound charity shop.

Both were complete with their postcards.

The mad Paraguayan thing (which is great) was a new addition to the database.

This EP was found in Turkey. It should come from Persia (Iran) and is one of the very rare records with Milva on it.

Car boot sales purchases this morning:

First three, all for £1 and in original sleeves. Third one I had already, but not a tri-centre copy.
Seller then pointed me in the direction of another guy who was selling all kinds of Elvis stuff,
but also had a lot of early 60s singles for sale London, Stateside, Mercury etc.
Good selection for a change, but didn't have too much time on my hands,
so picked the Jerry Lee Lewis single for £2 because it was in an excellent Stateside sleeve!

Charity shop purchases this afternoon:

Read elsewhere on 45cat that this is the EP that contains tracks that are only available on this EP.

Couldn't recall this track at all, but was well impressed when I heard it.

That well known (to some people anyway) Scottish beat group from the mid 60's.

After a copy of this for some time and actually heard it on an oldie station this evening
.

Brilliant find this, I reckon. Great tracks.

My token jazz record and I like the label.

3 nice Decca charity shop finds fabgear66!

"...Couldn't recall this track at all, but was well impressed when I heard it..."

terrific 45!

"...That well known (to some people anyway) Scottish beat group from the mid 60's..."

top mod beat from Scotland! don't turn up in our local charity shops! one I've been after for awhile...

"...After a copy of this for some time and actually heard it on an oldie station this evening..."

picked up my mint copy from the Thames auction back in the 90's!

what a result! well done!

nothing much for me this Saturday... just 5 mint, spindle mark free and looking like they have hardly been played MGM's (2 SP series from 1954 not on 45cat yet) and also a Frank Ifield with crisp as new paper sleeves on vintage stall in Cardiff city centre...

I'm gonna add the 2 missing MGM SP 45's now...

Wonderful hypnotic bass-line on that tune!
