Re: Trader - Sweets For My Sweet - Transatlantic BIG 543

.....a beacon of light, maybe.

I worked for Transatlantic records in 1975, and knew a few people.
If you look on the link to Nat Joseph, late founder/owner of the label HERE>>>>, and then scroll down to NURTURING EXECUTIVE TALENT, there is a list of people I knew and worked for. The main ones are.....

Ray Cooper (Sales)
Martin Lewis (Publicity & Marketing)
Bob Johnson (Sales Rep)
Vivien Goldman (Press Officer)
Roger Upright (Promotion Manager)

Although some of the others may be useful as well, someone amongst that long list may well have the knowledge you seek.
Ray Cooper is one hell of a nice guy to start with.

I am not sure if the Bob Harris, is the one you seek regarding production of the single, this just doesn't look like his thing, and anyway, it's a common enough name.
I'm sure his then current (1976) gig at the Beeb would have exempted him from 'outside' activities.

Bonne Chance.....

There is a Music Week yearbook, which lists most people in the Music Industry, (check back issues as well) and someone like Ray Cooper is bound to have an entry in there.
Roger Upright is another good bet, as on the same link I gave you, he has left a tribute to Nat Joseph, which ends "Roger Upright, Devon, England, September 13th 2005", so check the electoral register, he has an unusual surname.
You really have to do this yourself.
If I wanted to find almost anybody, I could, but it is not my business.

The question I have is what is the need for this information?
