Quite an increase over 3 years - cheeky how the they have added a sticker to cover the blemish where the previous owner had removed the sticker.

I can't believe that someone thought that sticker was vintage 67. It looks like it was added yesterday.

The 800-pound sticker. Sad but not at all surprising.

Yes. I am pleased that the fraud perpetrated has been spotted from the clues given. There could be enough clues in the errant listing to work out who the ebayer is.

I have no idea of the seller (it wasn't me!) but I am intrigued to know now as obviously it is someone with a fairly high feedback rating who sells regularly.

The overuse of capitals and "rare" etc are a bit recognisable.

Wonder how the buyer would feel if he saw this price (albeit without the promotional sleeve)?

The thing who owns the account states on his mendacious listing that he has been at it for 8 years, so if telling the truth it could be year 2000 when it rose from the swamp. This footnote in its listing states:

*DEPENDING ON THE AUCTION PRICE AS OF MIDNIGHT GMT SATURDAY 19TH THIS MIGHT BE TAKEN OFF EBAY AND KEPT IN MY PRIVATE COLLECTION, AS I AM STILL RELUCTANT TO SELL IT, SO GET BIDDING AND YOU MIGHT CHANGE MY MIND AS I COULD DO WITH THE FUNDS, BUT I`M NOT THAT DESPERATE TO LET IT GO CHEAP**

Now I know there's lots of clues in there and it sounds like it's something to do with Marvel Comics.......let me ponder this.................. :read:

Trouble is I was always a fan of Superman DC

If in UK ( E&W ) , there is fraud legislation , - gaining a pecuniary advantage by intent to deceive. There should be an ebay report this item button where questionable items can be queried at least ( ebay bend over backwards to help big business TM holders [quite rightly ] but seem unconcerned of this kind of item ) .

In the wake of the Pink Floyd single which sadly never existed I revisit this topic - did anyone suss who the seller is?- and what of the poor buyer - could he get his money back if he wished to sell?

Anyone had a close look at the vinyl itself ?

Looks like it has been well played too ..

What really pissing me off is that he doesn't grade his 45, so people will buy an overplayed 45 with stickers and writings.

This one is barely worth 10 to 20 pounds in this condition
