The Boom discography looks geat now

Over at the Boom discography on global dog it looks like 60,008 60,010 and 60,011 were not issued.

The weird one is the huge gap between 60023-37

Before the final release BM 60,038

Is there an explanation for this? Was the numbering system used by a sister label?

I've gone over the listing adding dates etc.

I researched this label for Spectropop a few years ago, the missing numbers
don't appear to have been released. Boom didn't share its numbering system with any other label.

The label was run by Roy Rifkind who had been general manager for Bang / Shout which explains why there are so many Feldman,Gottehrer, Goldstein
related records on Boom. As far as I can make out Rifkind wasn't happy with
the distribution deal with ABC so the label was wound up and a new label,
Spring, was set up and signed distribution deals initially with MGM then Polydor.

Boom was mainly an outlet for masters bought in from independent producers - maybe the missing numbers were allocated to singles that had been scheduled but the deals fell through for one reason or another.

There is one 45 missing from our listing but I'm reluctant to add it without seeing proof of it's existence.

BM 60,019
Gary And The Luvlites / Lovelites / Luv Lites / Love Lites / Love Lights / Lovelights / Luv Lights / Luvlights
(all variations added for hopeful google hits  )

A : My Heart Just Couldn't Take The Pain
B: The Shadow Of Your Love 1966

I've had no luck finding a scan or photo of this one.

Anyone got a copy?
