R.I.P. Johnny Hoes, aged 94 died 23 july 2011. Johnny was well known in Holland as a performer, owner of the record company Telstar and a writer of songs for other artists (over 5000 songs)
His best known record was in 1961: Och was ik maar bij moeder thuis gebleven (translated: I wish i'll stayed at home with my mama) This record sold more than 450.000 pieces, which is still today the highest selling single in the Netherlands.

Dan Peek of America passed away on Sunday(pictured on left), he was 60 years old, both former bandmates, Gerry Becley and Dewey Bunnell are both deeply saddened to hear of their friends passing, cause of death is still unknown..........John
R.I.P. Jerry Leiber. Just spotted his name listed on the Dead Rock Stars site. Most sad... he and Mike Stoller wrote and produced so many legendary records - who could ever forget their work with The Coasters? To name just one act...

Gary from 2000 DS, on 4th August. Car accident in Jamaica that took not only him but also three others including his daughter.
