My mate Neil says :

"They hailed from Bedford & released a 7” single called Locomotive which I have along with some demos.

Their claim to fame was supporting the Nephilm & Ghostdance at the Bedford Greyfriars & possibly headlining the Bull & Gate??
"

And that's yr lot from me, I'm afraid !

Hi Christine, saw you play several times back then - as I worked with Andy at VW. Are you still making music these days? Any idea what Andy is up to nowadays? Just poking around as I'm going to see the Twang at Esquires (greyfriars) and brought back happy memories of you supporting the Primitives there - Rico

Hi Rico
How are you? Not done much musically for a while Im afraid. I recorded a few bits and pieces but have got sidetracked with business and family. Im amazed that people still remember and are slightly interested in us. Mick Mercer.com has books with photos of the band in it. Ive toyed with the idea of putting unreleased music onto disc for anyone interested, I know Mick Mercer wants one. Last I heard Andy is living in Surrey and has kept his past musical antics very quiet. Dont think anyone is in touch with him anymore. what are you up to these days? christine

Oh My God Christine... how the heck are you? It's Ann...(Bartram) We used to hang out loads in Bedford in late 80s... saw you lot perform loads of times. Have searched for you a few times but could not remember your surname. Would be great to have a catch up mate! Let me know your email and will drop you a line.

Hi Christine, sorry for the late reply, I can't believe it was so long back that I posted on here, how time flies. Luckily the same reason for the original post has brought me back - only this time it's the Primitives back at Esquires (Greyfriars) - already got my ticket - shame WATD aren't supporting!
Thanks for the info on Mick Mercer.com, I'll check it out and yes, I'd be interested in anything you put out - is Locomotive available digitally at all? although I suppose I could do it myself - just being lazy.
I'm still working at the same company in MK basically, although it's no longer owned by VW. Got divorced for the second time about 6 yrs back but since then I go to lots more gigs with an old work mate. We must do about 50-60 a year now and I really enjoy listening to live music again and discovering new bands. Mainly indie type bands but a bit of allsorts really, plus a few old bands if they are worth seeing such as the Prims or a few from my punk days. Some of our current favourites are The View, Glasvegas, Bleech and Joy Formaidable. Went to see Foals in Nottingham last night which was lively. Anyway hope all is good for you and maybe speak again later. Cheers Rico

Hey Christine,

Was searching for bands that I worked with in the studio when I was living in Luton and came across your post. I remember I recorded a track or two with you guys at the Madhouse Studio in Luton, I think one track was called "OLD UNCLE". I recalled you stop playing shortly after that. My band Benediction also did a gig with WAD in a pub in Bedford.

Actually, I might have a copy of that track somewhere... But god knows where!!!

Cheers

Rob
