I don't see it, Tom - The Glass House doesn't show up in the list of Crosby's pseudonyms,
I don't see it them in Crosby's later US releases in his own discography .. can you give me
a specific page or BBC code so I can look into it ?
I love this record! Pure pop with some interesting arrangement steals ("Venus") and snatches of "Sugar Sugar" thrown in the mix. Not your usual release on the Invictus label, nor what one would expect from Holland-Dozier-Holland Prod. Inc., but that's what makes it all the more entertaining.Comment by Catagna45:
How this issue 'escaped' on Invictus is beyond me. Utterly different to their normal output (I used to blindly buy every Invictus/Hot Wax single in those days as the quality was so reliable) but never knew this disc existed.
Naturally without checking the label credits I was looking forward to the usual Perry, Dunbar, Barrino, Chairmen, excitement. Instead, it's as if The (moonlighting) Funk Brothers had gone home and they used the last hour of studio time for a visiting Eurovision wannabe. (There's only a snatch of 'Solo' available on YT to prove my point).
