PS: According to BMI, Tommy Kontos was the writer of both of these songs. As mentioned in the YouTube comments, he produced records (as Tommy Kaye) with a variety of acts, and in 1966 he went on to Scepter Records' A&R Dep't.
I'd bet this is actually Thomas Jefferson Kaye aka Tommy Kaye.
Anybody know for sure ?
