The Damned

A1: Neat Neat Neat
B1: Stab Your Back
B2: Singalonga Scabies
I don't quite agree with miner154's assessment of the order of pressings. There is a discrepancy in the release date on the promo 25/2/77 (Dave Cooper's book has an earlier date 18/2/77 taken from a list provided by Stiff) which differs from the 11/3/77 date in the industry paper. The March date is when Island took over distribution, initial releases did not have the Island logo on the rear of the laminated sleeves.
The first and second pressings are the same ie: first pressings. A small number of these solid centres were then dinked to allow the centre to push-out. All the ones I have seen do not have Island logo sleeves.

So, I reckon it goes..

1) Gothic Damned script, Serrated lip, Solid or Push-out centre, Laminated Delga sleeve, No Island logo
2) Gothic Damned script, Serrated lip, Solid centre, Laminated Delga sleeve, Island logo
3) Gothic Damned script, Serrated lip, Solid centre, Laminated Delga sleeve, No Island logo
4) Plain Damned script, Solid centre, Laminated Delga sleeve: 1st Box set version
5) Plain Damned script, Solid centre, Made in England, Laminated sleeve no Delga: 2nd Box set version
6) Gothic Damned script, Serrated lip, Solid centre, Matt paper sleeve no Delga: 4 pack version

4 & 5 have the Lyntone LYN matrix
6 has BILBO TA1PE matrix
