Dave McKee
I joined under the name of Dave McKee in 2010. Some time later (after a few to many Cointreaus) I tried to join again under this name but was told someone else already had the name. Not realising it was me, I joined again under the name David M. McKee and that is where you can find my contributions to this forum.

The silver disc is much rarer than the gold, despite the valuation in the RRPG

Jerry Wallace

A: To Get To You
B: Time
Jerry Wallace hit the US charts in 1958 with Challenge 59013 ‘How The Time Flies’ (UK release London HL8719).
From 1958 to 1964 up to Challenge 59246 ‘In The Misty Moonlight’ (UK release London HLH9914) all his records were released on the Challenge label.
The last Challenge single was released in 1969 – 59396, Billy Brown, One Of The Ten Most Wanted women – then the company went bust.
Jerry Wallace moved to Liberty Records in 1968, then US Decca in 1971. In 1973 he was with MCA, 1977 with BMA and in 1978 with 4 Star Records.
HLH 10375 comes from US Decca 32914; HLH 10387 is from US Decca 32989.

I have copies of HLH 10375 and HLH 10387. Both labels state Challenge as the US company. This is impossible because 1) the company no longer existed and 2) Jerry left the label in 1965 after Challenge 59278 – ‘You’re Driving You Out Of Your Mind’.

Also, US Decca singles were released on MCA in the UK in 1972 (Ricky Nelson – ‘Garden Party’ US Decca 32980 = UK MCA MU 1165
