Most of my stuff bought from 76 on, mainly in Düsseldorf and Cologne (not to forget shopping trips to London regularly between 76 and mid 80s. Hence lots of R&T stickers). Not really a collection, just an accumulation of records that reflects the moods of the times and varying tastes. I now live in Vienna, Austria. Had only a small selection at hand until recently I was able to ship a few boxes of records from storage, luckily most of my 45s included. Many of them are heavily abused by occasional djaying. I also admit to adding the odd 45 on which I worked myself in one way or the other.

In my experience the majority of UK 45s of that era were sold in either company sleeves, or plain white ones, flip back, meaning a foldover glued on the back. At least that was what I managed to get hold of then mostly, both on import in Germany, and on frequent visits to London. I think only a couple of 1000s of picture sleeves were printed, and when those ran out generic sleeves were used.
The "JONZ" part is mastering/cutting engineer John Dent's personal signature.

I only know that at that time we got our stuff imported on a weekly basis directly from the UK by our local dealer, so the group-on-front version was most likely from release week. I assume both were available at the same time, this looking like another then fashionable marketing/design ploys.
