The American Breed

A: Bend Me, Shape Me
B: Mindrocker
Because of the vagaries of UK licencing. Sometimes licences change abruptly and the label changes,

Otis Rush And His Band

A: My Love Will Never Die
B: Violent Love
A one-two knockout punch of a blues 45. The B side's imagery exudes power. Both sides an ace. One of my favorite Cobra 45 singles ever, only beaten out by "I Can't Quit You Baby" Essential Chicago Blues at it's finest.

The Singing Nun

A: Dominique
B: Tous Les Chemins (All The Roads)
Being that this recording is a US release, try seeing if you can play it with the left channel only and see if a lot of the echo goes away, if so, you have mono. Usually with most USA Mercury/Smash/Philips material this gets you mono.

Vern Gosdin

A: Set 'Em Up Joe
B: There Ain't Nothing Wrong (Just Ain't Nothing Right)
I have this in my AMI Continental II jukebox, and on selection number B24. As the song mentions. One of Vern's finest singles.

The Soul Stirrers

A: Peace In The Valley
B: Jesus Gave Me Water
Remember too. Art Rupe never took any Specialty recording out of print ever. He pressed them and replenished stock if he ran out. Usually they got pressed in small batches, (5,000-10,000 copies) and repressed when the stock ran very low. The Soul Stirrers singles did get gradually issued on 45 RPM through the 1950's. And in many cases could be special ordered well into the early 1980's to the Fantasy Records purchase of the label.
