Southern african music historian; enjoys music in all types of languages. Many of the records uploaded by me here (but not all) may be available for swap or sale, do contact me by message on 45cat if interested in a particular item. Vinyl is generally hard to find nowadays in Zimbabwe with no vinyl shops or collectors whom one can approach to purchase from or swap with. Most of the items uploaded by me in 2013 were from the collection of one person who was selling a large number of items. Some of those I had been searching for for many years and am unlikely to come across again.

Provided disc images.

HI SUMMER appears to have fallen through the cracks in the UK charts but did achieve some renown in southern Africa with the following chart data:

Non sales based chart:
South Africa - Radio 5 - Top 20 entry date 02 October 1977 with a #10 peak

Sales chart:
Rhodesia - Top 20 - entry date 07 January 1978 with a #4 peak.

The song was a composition by the late Lynsey de Paul. Used as the theme for a UK TV series if I am not incorrect. Perhaps received some airplay in UK nonetheless.
