Archibald [New Orleans]

A: Stack-A-Lee (Part 1)
B: Stack-A-Lee (Part 2)
Here's the Archibald discography as I've compiled it from this discography and the notes from this LP. Corrections and additions welcome.

Recorded March 1950
"Stack-A-Lee", Parts 1 & 2 (Imperial 5068 and Imperial 5563)
"Shake Shake Baby" b/w "Ballin' with Archie" (Imperial 5082)
"My Gal" b/w "She's Scattered Everywhere" (Imperial 5101)
"Little Miss Muffet" b/w "Crescent City Bounce" (Colony 105)

Recorded September 1952
"Early Morning Blues" b/w "Great Big Eyes" (Imperial 5212)
"Soon As I Go Home" (Imperial LP, 1968)
"House Party Blues" (United Artists UK LP, 1972)

Leon T. Gross is credited as composer of all tracks except "Great Big Eyes," by Dave Bartholomew. Also see Archibald listing on 45worlds.

Willie West

A: Fairchild
B: I Sleep With The Blues
Video posted by Anabella was nuked. See the WFMU blog for the promo version. The horn arrangement on the promo is very good, but I agree with Dan Phillips that the alternate version is better balanced.

Roy "Bald Head" Byrd

A: Gone So Long
B: Rockin´ With Fes
Apparently neither of Professor Longhair's Federal singles were legitimately released on 45 RPM.

Lee Allen And Band

A: Rockin´ At Cosmo´s
B: Shimmy
Cosimo Matassa passed away at 88 on September 11, 2014.

A.F.O. Combo

A: All For One Twist
B: Sweet Sue
"Whip O Will," "Gettin' Married Soon," "Graveyard," "It Takes Time," and "(You) Talk About Love" were released on A.F.O. through Sue. Other songs were released during A.F.O.'s post-Sue period: "Always Accused," "I'll Make a Bet," "Clap Your Hands," "Why Lie." Still others, like "Private Eye," "Is It Too Late," and Prince La La's "Things Have Changed," were recorded but went unheard for 30 years until Ace's Gumbo Stew compilations.
