Just flicking through this and as a very belated comment, MonkeyHanger - you're correct! I bought this on release too (I'd bought Denis earlier) and this was certainly one of 1978's best. I never saw a picture sleeve at the time though, both my first two came in blue Chrysalis bags.

albert - I didn't see your comments, sorry, but I have seen some of the Tom Snyder shows (77 & 81) but can't recall anything embarrassing.A long-term fan (not sure if that means I'm rabid!) but what have I missed? Also, when did the blue label appear (anyone?) Ta.

A1: Why
A2: Going All The Way
B1: Go Ahead
B2: Just Like Me
An odd aside, but when I went to order this at the time I'm sure it was being advertised as "Pourquoi" (ie French for "Why"!) Was this another one of your quirks, Mr Bam-Caruso?

I bought this a week or so after it came on TOTP and mine had plastic labels and a Chrysalis company sleeve; how I missed all these different picture sleeves at the time is just unreal..

The Starlighters [Joey Dee]

A: How Can I Forget
B: How Can I Forget (Instrumental)
I always loved this, the instrumental being 'the one'. I'm unsure when this oddity came out, but I bought it from the DJ at a soul night in mid 1983.
