|Wild Willy Barrett|
A: Rapping On A Mountain
|A-side is Barrett's version of "Come Here Son" (Fire in the Mountain anyone?). No cover this, Barrett proceeds to do what many folk artists before him have done, adapt the song to the current climate. Two old hippies with long hair / Sitting on a bench in Leicester Square is substituted for Two little Indians one old squaw / Sitting on a rock in Arkansas|
I'm sure many folk artists will continue from this tradition and they have my support if Rapping is anything to go by.
B-side I'm guessing is about roadies. Not superior. Turns out you can fit more goodness into less time. Half the length, actually!
