Just found out that this is the same as the UK mix (similar to the LP mix). It's the US mix which is different!

Quote:
From Wikipedia:
The UK mono single version is unique as it features...heavy reverb effect at the end of the line "How high can you fly?" (Part 1 only), and an extra bagpipe passage at the end of the fadeout on Part 2.

Unquote

As one can clearly hear and see on the clip VinylSid provided, the UK version does not feature the flanging (or "heavy reverb effect") on "How high can you fly"! The extra bagpipe coda on Pt 2 is also not on the UK issue.
Fact is: the Wiki entry is wrong and refers to the US release!

Could this be from 1977 instead? Judging by the cat.no. ...

The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown

A: Nightmare
B: What's Happening
The German issue has single-tracked vocals, is it the same with the UK release? If not then the German-45 is a folddown.
The CD of the first album has the mono mix with double-tracked vocals, while the stereo on the same CD has it single-tracked.
