Mmmmmmm not too impressed by the sleeve, but the tracks themselves are crap, the B side is that the Ritalin Remix awful awful - this is worse than Till Dawn etc etc

Definitely was released, TS - as I AM the person who clicked the 'Owns' button! Not much of an addition to any collection, though. Glad you added to your splendid USA Reprise T.Rex collection - good stuff (unlike the aforementioned mess).

Interesting to note that only 1 person appears to own this single. Given the number of Boley fans on here that rather surprises me. dare I ask the question "Did this ever actually get released?" - oops - there; I asked it!!!

Ade, managed to complete my Reprise LP originals with a copy of 'T.Rex' and 'Tanx'. Going back today to have another look at a hugely expensive US promo copy of 'Tanx' too. I will let you know what I find!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your American sojourn, TS. I suspect the majority of this 'USA pressing' will have ended up being purchased by UK fans, so the news that the US retailer had never heard of it doesn't surprise me in the least. Wonder if ANY copies made it over the pond - other than those that, presumably, had been specifically ordered by US fans? I have my doubts.

So...what are these delicious Rex items you've acquired? Do tell - and make us all envious!

Hmmm - interesting. I asked guy who runs terrific vinyl store Rock-n-Roll Heaven in Orlando about this, wondering if I might actually find a copy for sale and he'd never heard of it. Promo for it here in the US seems as crappy as it is back home in Engerland. How sad.
Mind you I managed to pick up some fabulous original Rex products I hadn't seen before, so I'm a happy camper!

Cheesus! Those colours are absolutely vile. What on earth was the point of that lurid vinyl and those totally mismatched colour labels? I'm beginning to wonder if the dreaded Bramleys have crept back out of their hole and are influencing again. Can you tell I dislike this? Poor Marc.

Hey, Let's Not Do It (Ever Again).

Cover is fashioned from thinner card than UK equivalent and no 'limited edition' number impressed on red 'Hey' side of cover.

Vinyl is red translucent colour and much thinner than 70g of British copy.

No white die-cut inner sleeve - again unlike British equivalent.

According to the Fly Records Facebook page, (https://www.facebook.com/flyrecords1970) This is the test pressing for the U.S. version.
The comment left was: The American 7" test pressing was just delivered this morning. Sounding great!

No pic cover as far as I know, Jukeboxjonesy but I'll let you know for sure when my copy arrives in a few days. If there is, I'll post scans, natch (along with B side label).

Fairy nuff - was wondering why it hadn't been uploaded here...

Was gonna add the test acetate a few weeks back, Zabadak but - after contacting Fly - it turned out to be a 10" disc as 7" lacquers are apparently well-nigh impossible to locate in Briatain anymore. So, it's good you've linked it in the way you have.

A small historic moment: first Fly single release in the United States. Huzzah!

Several things need 'tidying up/correcting' here: title, production credits and so on. I'll scan my own copies in and ask the Mods to make the necessary corrections at that moment. Meanwhile, this is what the 'new' single looks like....

Two more blurry pics for this USA version of the UK release but, again, these'll be replaced with focused scans when I get a copy. Red vinyl, as can be seen and a limited edition.
