| ||True, what JimboUK says about these EP's. My Dad got me this EP While I was in my teen years, but lost it later on. I did get the LP long years later (on a double release with 'The Sound of the Shadows'-both in stereo). If what JimboUK says, that this is hard to find EP, the local Oxfam bookshop in Newcastle upon Tyne has one on display inside the window, if anyone is interested to look.|

| ||EMI/Columbia duplicated many Shadows LP cuts on EP. The first (1961) album had two EPs extracted from its contents, and two more of its tracks (Sleepwalk and Theme From A Filleted Plaice) were later included on the "Shindig With The Shadows" EP in 1963. "Out Of The Shadows" also had two EPs constructed from some of its tracks - see below.|
By the time they got to "Dance With The Shadows" in 1964, EMI increased the album plunder-count to three EPs per album, with the same number being mined from the grooves of the successor LP, "The Sound Of The Shadows".
This one contains four of the best from the relevant 12" disc: Fandango (never played live by the Shads), Blue Shadows (ditto), The Lonely Bull and the vocal That's The Way It Goes. As ever, sleeve notes were supplied by James Wynn of the NME, who mentioned various Shadows singles of 1964 as well as the four highlighted here.
Not a very common EP, since it added nothing to the collection of anyone (like me) who had the source album. Accordingly, and like various others if a like kind, hard to find.
