Notes

Release date from booklet 'The New Singles' No. 671

Where Were You When I Needed Your Love was a contender to represent the UK at the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest but was eventually placed 3rd from 12 entries at the 'A Song For Europe' national selection show held on March 9th at the New London Theatre, hosted by Terry Wogan. Due to a strike, the contest was never shown on TV, but it was broadcast on the radio. The winning song Rock Bottom by Lynsey De Paul and Mike Moran was chosen by the votes of 14 regional juries.
