Released 26 May according to Wikipedia, which would equate more closely with its entering the chart week ending 10 Jun.

My copy came with a generic EMI sleeve rather than the picture sleeve, so I've uploaded scans of both sides of that.

OK. Here Is the Video from My Library that does Not have any crap on It. A Nod to JPGR&B. Just Enjoy. H.

PS They have made the Single File available again. It Is on Her Official Website. This one only goes to 83. Maybe to keep the price down, And 83 to 2007 will be Volume Two. But If You have the Money a nice Investment. H.

EMI would've given Kate's right eye the wink over some random pretty boy for initial PS promotion purposes but I do take your point.

hope they sacked the derr-brain who designed this picture sleeve it really shows a lack of talent/imagination.

Agreed - especially as the picture shows The Woman (Kate) With The Child In Her Eyes!

Wasn't "Wuthering Heights" (New Vocal) included on the CD of "The Whole Story"? It was certainly on the vinyl.

just checked - I've got this album on vinyl STAR 2352 - that's why it looked familiar - here's the link to the CD version Greatest Love - Vol. II TCD 2352

looks like it was a 1989 issue, at the time I was buying a mixture of vinyl and cd - with the occasional cassette too (That album would have the cat. no. STAC 2352)

at last the search is over for a cd version - I know it's the right one as it's exactly the same length as the mp3 I made from my vinyl 7 inch :)

thanks for thant Henry29 - an excellent find - I think I've got Greatest Love vol. 1 - which features "Hounds Of Love" - however I don't seem to have vol. 2

I'll have to see if one turns up on E-Bay

So that's the single versions of 'Wuthering Heights' (or was it the album version, in that case? I'll check) and the single version of 'Man With The Child in His Eyes' that need official CD debuts. This is endlessly fascinating stuff, catters!

Must say I'd never noticed these differences either, despite owning all the singles/EPs/Lps etc. Keep it coming! Any more Kate anomalies out there? Love it.

I've had the single and LP versions for years and have never noticed a difference, until musicmasters pointed that out.
All I can say is, Mr mm, you have truly earned your user-name. :-)

the single version has never been available officially on CD as far as I'm aware - they always seem to use the album version without the "He's Here" vocal at the start...
perhaps someone should put this right as a double CD hits compilation is long overdue...

Fair point. Nevertheless, the 'as on label ' rule means this should be catalogued here without the 'The'. Which it has been, of course.

No, it's the label that's wrong. The track on the LP has "The".

Note that the picture sleeve incorrectly has 'THE Man With The Child In His Eyes' as the A side title.
